How we do what we do
We're a little different to most companies you'll encounter in this business. For a start, we have exactly one permanent employee, keeping our running costs down and your prices down with them. Our business is built on the principle of agility and expandability. We have no staff because we don't need them. We don't employ people to sit around waiting for work to come in, we don't employ people to manage people sitting around waiting for work to come in, we don't even employ people to go out and look for work. We don't need to. We've found a better way. Instead of running an office, staffing it with people and providing those people with everything that comes with employment in this modern world, we simply hire awesome development and design talent as we need it. We have a pool of talent to choose from, from all over the world. It's no stretch to say that at any one time we have access to several hundred talented IT professionals. That's several hundred people who could be working on your project within minutes of getting the go-ahead. It means you don't have to wait, ever. A typical web development firm might have several customers at once. How happy do you think those customers are when they're told their project will take longer because the firm doesn't have enough "resources" to work on it full time? We're always available. We can always work on your project, as soon as we get it, regardless of what else we might be working on. We've made the software development business scalable. Proactive problem solving
We're always looking for problems to solve, and you'll find that from time to time we'll release software that we've developed purely because we've seen a need. We're committed to the web, committed to embracing technology and finding ways to use it for the benefit of all. Because we have such a broad base of talent, our for-hire work never suffers because of this, it's just another string to our bow we'd like you to know about. We're passionate about building software that people use. If we come across a problem that doesn't have an appropriate solution, we're going to try to find one. That's what real developers do. Do yourself a favour, before you hire a software company, ask them what development they do just because it's there. Ask them if they write software their customers don't ask for. Ask them if they're always working on something, just because it's the only way they know. We are. Our culture rewards innovation from within. We don't stifle our developers. If they find something they want to work on that could make a difference, or be commercially viable, or even is just really, really cool, we're going to let them work on it. They wouldn't be the best if we didn't.
